Newland conducts 2023 fire evacuation exercise

To enhance fire safety awareness among all employees and to develop their emergency response and self-protection capabilities, Newland organized a high-rise fire evacuation drill titled "High and Aware, Life Beyond Compare" at the Newland Hongzhuo Building. Over 1,400 participants from various subsidiaries, the administrative center, and the volunteer firefighting team took part in the exercise.

The drill simulated a sudden fire scenario in the Hongzhuo Building. To ensure the smooth conduct of this event, the Safety Committee developed a detailed emergency plan for the fire evacuation drill, clearly defining the responsibilities of each department and unit. It also thoroughly conducted comprehensive fire safety education to employees, providing an in-depth explanation of fire escape techniques and evacuation routes, thus making ample preparations for the drill activities.
