1994
On the afternoon of October 4th, 1994, Newland held its first enterprise development seminar and clarified the enterprise development direction of "a group with industrialization, diversification and internationalization led by high-tech".
2003
Newland invested 10 million in German Jauch Quartz GmbH. After two years, the cross-border investment project was completed, making it the first enterprise approved by the State Council to invest in Europe. This move marked a substantial step in the group's internationalization strategy.
2008
Newland North America was officially established in Silicon Valley, the United States. This was another significant move to promote the internationalization strategy. Meanwhile, the Overseas Business Department of Newland's communication terminal business segment was also set up during this period. It opened up the international market and witnessed rapid development of overseas business from 2009 to 2010. Now, it has become one of the important exporters.
2009
During the financial crisis, Newland actively deployed the "Going Global" strategy. After more than a year of preparation, Newland EMEA was officially established in the Netherlands.
2009
Taiwan Newland Information Technology Co., Ltd. was founded. Newland became the first mainland Chinese enterprise investing in Taiwan, drawing wide attention across the Taiwan Strait and support from all sectors.
2015
Macao Newland Technology Co., Ltd. was established, aiming to promote Newland's innovative technologies and products to Hong Kong and Macau regions.
2018
Newland established subsidiaries in Brazil and Hong Kong to accelerate global expansion.
2022
During the pandemic, Newland expanded overseas against the odds. Its global marketing network has covered the Asia-Pacific region, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, North America and Latin America. The market share in the international market and the brand influence have been continuously enhanced, gradually completing the layout of Globalization 1.0 with the goal of "business globalization".
2024
Newland is stepping into the Globalization 2.0 stage with the localization of all elements including technology, service and organization. After newly establishing five subsidiaries globally in 2023, Newland has continued to promote the in-depth and practical implementation of the localization of overseas business. It is intensively building its global headquarters in Singapore and further increasing its investment in high-value mature markets such as North America, Europe and Japan.
