Typhoon Prevention Case Studies

In Sept 2023, hit by Typhoon Haikui (#11), Fuzhou saw continuous heavy rain, triggering road flooding. The park management swiftly launched anti-typhoon and flood plans. They installed flood boards at basement exits, checked and started basement pumps, issued early warnings, enforced 24-hour shifts, readied sandbags, and dredged drainage, ensuring no losses of life or property.

Newland carried out a high-rise building fire evacuation drill, with over 1,400 people participating. This drill simulated a sudden fire scenario on the upper floors of the office building. It also comprehensively publicized fire self-rescue knowledge to employees and provided an in-depth explanation of fire escape techniques and evacuation routes.
